Flying Colours Group was delighted to be part of this year’s Highlands Bushfest as a proud Silver Sponsor, teaming up with the Central Highlands Council to celebrate everything we love about Tasmania’s great outdoors.
Set in the beautiful Central Highlands, Bushfest brings together campers, fishers, food lovers, 4WD enthusiasts, local makers, families, and curious travellers for a relaxed weekend of outdoor fun. It’s one of those events where you can wander between stalls, listen to live music, try new skills, enjoy great food, and take in the fresh highland air — all at your own pace.
What We Created
This year, Flying Colours Group was responsible for producing two key pieces for the festival:
-
The Official Festival Program
Packed with event info, maps, exhibitor details, and handy tips for making the most of the weekend. -
The Adventure Passport
A fun, hands-on way for visitors to explore the festival and collect stamps as they moved around the grounds. Watching kids (and a few adults!) proudly compare their completed passports was a definite highlight.
Why We Loved Being Involved
Bushfest is more than a weekend event — it’s a showcase of regional Tasmania, local creativity, and a whole lot of community spirit. From the passionate stallholders to the families who make the trip each year, it’s the kind of event that feels welcoming from the moment you arrive.
For our team, being part of a festival that encourages people to get outdoors and appreciate the unique character of the Central Highlands felt like a natural fit. We’re all about bringing ideas to life, and Bushfest gave us a fantastic chance to do just that.
Looking Ahead
Huge thanks to the organisers, volunteers, exhibitors, and everyone who joined in on the fun. Supporting an event like this is something we genuinely enjoy, and we’re already looking forward to the next Bushfest.
If you attended and spotted our work around the site, we hope it added a little something extra to your weekend!
