Custom wedding invitations, menus and personalised stationery by Flying Colours Group

Flying Colours Group collaborated with Jacqui and Clint to create bespoke wedding stationery for their Queenstown wedding in New Zealand, featured in Vogue Australia.

Designed and printed by our Tasmanian team, the collection included custom wedding invitations, envelopes, reception menus, personalised place cards, wine labels and recovery brunch invitations. Rich burgundy, soft ivory and elegant typography brought a consistent style to every piece.

Bespoke Wedding Invitation Design

The wedding invitations introduced the look and feel of the celebration, combining romantic script with a delicate illustration of the wedding venue.

A lace border added texture and framed the invitation, while custom burgundy envelopes completed the presentation. Printed stamp and seal details gave the envelopes their own personality, creating a coordinated wedding invitation suite from the outside in.

The same colours, typography and illustrated details carried through to the recovery brunch invitations, with scalloped edges giving the next day’s celebration a complementary design.

Wedding Menus and Personalised Place Cards

For the wedding reception, we designed and printed custom menus with flowing, decorative edges and a burgundy border.

Matching personalised name tags served as wedding place cards, finished with gold eyelets and tassels. Styled alongside candles, flowers and gold accents, the menus and place cards became part of the table setting while helping guests find their seats and explore the evening’s menu.

Together, these pieces connected the invitation design with the reception styling, creating a cohesive wedding stationery collection.

Custom Wine Labels and Wedding Fun Fact Cards

Personal details made this wedding print project especially memorable.

Custom “The Plot Twist” wine labels brought the couple’s sense of humour to bottles of Josef Chromy Pinot Noir. Coordinating fun-fact cards shared stories, favourite things and playful insights about Jacqui and Clint, giving guests something to read and enjoy around the table.

These touches showed how personalised wedding stationery can reflect a couple’s story throughout their celebration.
