Windsor Precinct Signage

Wayfinding Signage

Flying Colours produced a series of wayfinding signs for Windsor Precinct in Launceston. We took on the challenge of manufacturing signage that were durable, highly visible, and functional for the precinct’s diverse spaces, including sports facilities, community venues, and medical services.

The Windsor Precinct required clear, easily navigable signage to direct visitors to key locations such as the Riverside Olympic Football Club, cricket grounds, community hall, and the medical centre. Our role was to ensure the final products were produced to exact specifications while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.

Key challenges included:

  • Producing weather-resistant signage for outdoor use.
  • Ensuring legibility and accessibility.
  • Executing precise manufacturing to match the client’s provided designs.

Our team used high-quality materials and printing techniques to ensure long-lasting durability and vibrant visuals, even in harsh weather conditions. The signs were delivered on time and installed without delays, ready for the public to use.

The signage plays a crucial role in directing thousands of visitors each week to various locations such as the community garden, soccer grounds, amphitheatre, café, and dog exercise area. Each sign offers clear directions, allowing for easy navigation.

The success of this project demonstrates Flying Colours’ ability to produce functional and visually effective signage, enhancing the overall experience for visitors, even when the design is not our responsibility.
