There’s nothing we love more than helping schools make a bold first impression — and Bruny Island District School now does exactly that with a fresh new sign to greet students, families, and the wider community.

Nestled on the beautiful Bruny Island, this wonderful little school is all about connection, care, and community. So when they reached out for new signage, we knew it needed to reflect their welcoming spirit while also being practical, professional, and built to last.

We designed, produced, and installed a custom freestanding school sign that brings both style and function to the school’s entrance. Featuring a crisp and clear layout with the school logo, bold text, and space for changeable messaging, the sign now keeps everyone informed and engaged — whether it’s about school events, community updates or a friendly hello.

Of course, the location meant our install team got to enjoy some fresh sea air and take a mini adventure of their own. (We’re not complaining – it’s all part of the Flying Colours experience!)

Fantastic service! I enquired about signage about 7 weeks before I got approval but they were very accommodating. When I went back to Matt he was very clear in the cost, what he needed and the timeline.
