Flying Colours Group delivered a complete, campus-wide signage and wayfinding package for Legana Primary School as part of the school’s new build. Spanning six buildings, the project required a clear, intuitive signage system that would support daily movement across the site while remaining welcoming, durable and appropriate for a primary school environment.

The scope included external and internal signage, freestanding wayfinding elements, glazing manifestations, writable room identification, door signage and values signage. Each element was designed to work as part of a cohesive system, helping students, staff and visitors navigate the campus with ease while maintaining visual consistency across a large and varied site.

A calm, nature-inspired design language developed by Great Scott Design in collaboration with Cumulus Studio informed the overall look and feel. Each building was assigned its own colour identity, requiring careful coordination to ensure individual areas were clearly distinguishable while still feeling connected as part of a unified campus.

The project involved close collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including Vos Constructions, Cumulus Studio and Great Scott Design. With approvals often delivered in stages, the project demanded flexible planning, disciplined file management and ongoing coordination between design, production and installation. Particular care was taken to achieve accurate colour matching across a range of substrates, including frosted and translucent window films, ensuring consistency across all buildings.

The completed signage system provides clear wayfinding, supports a positive learning environment and delivers a durable, low-maintenance solution designed for long-term public use.
