Reliving the Magic of the New Horizon’s Ball: A Barbie-Themed Extravaganza

What happens when you combine a beloved pop culture icon with the creative brilliance of the Flying Colours Group? You get the unforgettable New Horizon’s Ball, where we had the absolute pleasure of sponsoring the design, print, and signage for an event that transported guests straight into the world of Barbie!

This year’s ball was nothing short of a spectacular dream, with the theme centered around the vibrant, playful, and ever-iconic Barbie movie. The moment guests arrived, they were welcomed into a dazzling Barbieland, complete with everything you’d expect from a world where “life in plastic” truly is fantastic.

A World of Pink Dreams

At the heart of the event was the stage backdrop, where our team crafted a stunning visual centrepiece that set the tone for the night. It was a sparkling homage to Barbie’s world, with elements that shimmered under the lights, creating the perfect photo backdrop for those memorable moments.

The room itself was transformed into a Barbie paradise. Directional signs led guests through the magical world of Barbieland, while towering palm trees added a touch of California dreamin’. These elements weren’t just decorations—they were invitations for guests to immerse themselves in the theme and let their inner Barbie or Ken shine.

The Kendom Salon & Beyond

One of the night’s highlights was the Kendom Salon, a space where Ken took centre stage. We designed signage that reflected Ken’s suave and stylish persona, making it a perfect spot for the gents to channel their inner Ken. The attention to detail here made the Kendom Salon not just a place to be but an experience to remember.

Bringing the Vision to Life

At Flying Colours Group, we thrive on bringing creative visions to life, and the New Horizon’s Ball was a perfect example of what we do best. From the initial concept to the final installation, our team poured heart and soul into ensuring every element was just right, creating an experience that was as immersive as it was unforgettable.

We’re incredibly proud of the work we did to help make this event a reality, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Seeing everyone enjoying the world we helped create was the ultimate reward.

Stepping into Barbieland

As guests walked into the venue, they were greeted by our meticulously designed Barbieland entrance signage. It was bold, bright, and quintessentially Barbie, serving as the gateway to an evening of fun, fashion, and fantasy. The entrance was more than just a sign; it was an invitation to leave the real world behind and step into a world where every detail had been crafted to perfection.

Fun with Barbie & Ken

And who could forget the Mattel Barbie and Ken boxes? These life-sized replicas were a huge hit, offering guests the chance to become their favourite doll for a moment. Whether striking a pose as Barbie or flexing as Ken, these boxes added a layer of interactive fun to the evening, with plenty of laughs and memories captured on camera.
