Cascade Female Factory

Wayfinding Hobart Signage

In collaboration with Hansen Yuncken, the Flying Colours Group Tas successfully created the Wayfinding Hobart Signage for the World Heritage-listed Cascades Female Factory. Notably, this signage effectively conveys the story of convict women and girls, highlighting their displacement, mistreatment, forced migration, and significant contribution to colonization throughout Australia’s colonial history up to the present day.

Our team adeptly managed all aspects of the project. First, we produced the gabion wall sign, meticulously crafting each detail to resonate with the historical context. Then, we focused on designing comprehensive wayfinding and amenities signs for the factory. Throughout the installation process, we took great care to preserve the building’s heritage. Additionally, we ensured a faithful representation of the narratives depicted in the interpretation signage.

If your requirements extend to signs in Hobart, Launceston, or across the entire state, we encourage you to reach out to us today. Discover how the implementation of a vibrant vehicle wrap for your business can significantly impact your brand presence.
