At Flying Colours Group, we love crafting signage that makes a statement, and this one for Edge of the Bay is no exception. Nestled along the pristine shores of Coles Bay, Edge of the Bay needed an entry sign that was as inviting and striking as the destination itself. We were all too happy to deliver.

The goal? To design and manufacture a sign that captures the natural beauty and vibe of this iconic spot. We wanted something that would turn heads while seamlessly fitting into the surrounding landscape. The result? A modern, stylish sign that gives guests a taste of what’s waiting for them just beyond the edge.

The sign’s clean, neutral tones are brought to life by pops of vibrant yellow — a nod to sun-soaked days by the bay. The custom “Edge” typography blends boldness with flow, reflecting the contrast between the rugged Tasmanian coast and the calm, clear waters. But our favourite detail? The subtle waves that create movement and mirror the stunning coastal views.

Craftsmanship was key. We designed the sign with precision and manufactured it to withstand salty sea breezes, blazing summer sun, and everything Tasmania’s weather can throw at it. Durable materials, smart design, and a commitment to quality mean this sign will stand tall for years to come.
