University of Tasmania Signage

Site Signage

Flying Colours partnered with the University of Tasmania to produce high-quality signage for their Architecture and Design campus in Inveresk, Launceston. The project aimed to create clear, functional signage that would seamlessly integrate with the modern and industrial aesthetic of the campus buildings.

Our team produced a range of signs, including directional signage, room numbers, and informational panels. The goal was to ensure easy navigation for both students and visitors across the campus. Every sign was meticulously designed and crafted to fit within the overall architecture while still standing out enough to be immediately useful. By aligning the signage design with the university’s branding, we created a cohesive visual experience that reinforces the school’s professional and creative atmosphere.

One of the key focuses of the project was durability. The campus experiences high foot traffic, so the materials we used were selected for their long-lasting qualities. The finishes were chosen to withstand the wear and tear of daily campus life while maintaining their sleek appearance.

The signage also played an essential role in accessibility. Our designs included clear, easy-to-read fonts and strategically placed icons, ensuring that everyone, including people with disabilities, can navigate the campus efficiently. This focus on accessibility was a vital part of the project’s success, reflecting the university’s commitment to creating an inclusive environment.
