City of Launceston

We are proud to have been part of the roll out of the City of Launceston wayfinding system. Creating a clear, consistent, and easily understood Wayfinding system. This has improved council signage, the navigability between open spaces and the local experience for visitors.

These signage systems are an important ‘face’ to the broader community and communicate the corporation brand and identity to the world. We are proud to partner with the City of Launceston for majority of their signage needs.

Ashgrove Cheese

Ashgrove is an award-winning Tasmanian paddock to plate dairy. it is proudly Australian grown, made, owned and managed and Flying Colours Group are proud to have developed the interpretation signage for their dairy door.

Alongside Ashgrove, we manufactured and installed the interpretive signage, showcasing Ashgrove’s unique pasture to plate philosophy. While you watch cheesemakers in action, you can follow our interpretation panels to learn more about what’s happening right in front of you.

Kingborough Council

Our team worked with the Kingborough Council, to produce and install the Interpretation Signage at Kingston Park. The council commissioned original work from a variety of artists to enhance the different precincts of Kingston Park. These interactive spaces within the park are signaled by interpretive entrance signs and pillars, produced and installed by out clever team in the South.

The interpretation pillars feature incredible designs, stories and stunning artworks. They are made predominantly from Macrocarpa timber, with router cut detailing. The centre of the pillar is wrapped with a digitally printed wrapped aluminium panel, with powder coated steel cap and base.

Mawson’s Huts Foundation

This interpretation signs project was for the Mawson’s Huts Foundation. A not for profit charity established in 1996 to conserve the historic and fragile wooden huts of Hobart. The building sign for the Mawson’s Huts Replica Museum was done using built up acrylic letters, attached to a painted backing board. While the interpretive panels, were produced using wrapped aluminium panels, to tell the story of Antarctic Heritage.
